Personality: Maplestar is a light-hearted she-cat. She is playful and always trusting. She doesn't believe in 'bad' cats, just cats that have been set astray. She believes they can always become good again. She is loyal and trustworthy, and always sticks to the warrior code. However, she has a soft spot for kits. She is kind and sweet, very gentle. Overall, she is a lovable leader.
Description: Maplestar is an averaged sized, pretty she-cat. She has pale ginger fur that is always shining. Her underbelly is tan, as well as a mask on her face. The bottom of her tail is also tan. She has thick, powerful haunches. like every other SkyClan cat. Her eyes are a shining emerald green.
History: Maplekit was born in SkyClan to Raintail and Redcloud. Her father died shortly after when she was only a moon old from wounds from a Tallpines battle against ThunderClan. It didn't hit her hard; she didn't know him well. Time flew and she was apprenticed as Maplepaw to the leader, Fallenstar. It was a great honor she was proud of. The deputy died from blackcough that leafbare, and Maplepaw's mother replaced him.
Maplepaw learned quickly, becoming the best climber in the Clan. She was made a warrior, Mapleheart. A season later, she received her leader's kit as her apprentice; Trackpaw. Soon later, the medicine cat needed to go to Highstones. Mapleheart offered to accompany her, along with Trackpaw. The three traveled very far, only to be caught by a WindClan patrol on the way. They explained the circumstances, but the WindClan warriors who stopped them thought they were a diversion for an invasion party. One of the warriors in the patrol, Brokenclaw, convinced his Clanmates to step down. Mapleheart thanked him graciously.
A few moons later, Trackpaw became Tracktail. The next night they went to the gathering, and Mapleheart talked to Brokenclaw again. He asked her to meet him the next night at fourtrees, and she nervously agreed. They started to meet on a regular basis, and quickly fell in love.
Soon after, Mapleheart moved to the nursery. She had one kit whom she named Cherrykit. It was then that Raintail was dying from snake poisoning. She knew that the choice for deputy was between her and another warrior, one who would run the Clan into the ground if he became leader. That's when she made a difficult decision. She met Brokenclaw at Fourtrees that night, giving him Cherrykit. When she returned to camp her mother had died. She explained that Cherrykit had been killed by an attacking rogue when Mapleheart had taken her out to show her the territory, and that the rogue took the body. The Clan believed her, and never connected Cherrykit with the Cherrykit in WindClan . She became deputy, taking the position with sorrow in her heart. It would be almost impossible for her to have to fight her kit on the other side of the forest, but it would be hard to watch her grow in another Clan. Fallenstar lost his last life due to old age, and Mapleheart became Maplestar. Soon later, in a battle against ShadowClan, Maplestar lost a life. Tracktail soon after disappeared, and Brokenclaw was taken by twolegs.
The 'golden' Espeon quickly ducked as a Spearow randomly flew right over her head. She cursed under her breath, looking around to see why it was being so Rattata-brained. She then spotted what had caused it.
An icey blue Jolteon was standing right by her, on FloatClan territory. She had seen him before, at a Gathering or something. He belonged to the neighboring ThunderClan; but if that was true, then why was he on FloatClan territory?
Rather than make a huge scene, she decided to give him a chance to go peacefully. Of course, she'd need some answers first.
"Excuse me," she meowed, walking up to him slowly. "Why are you on FloatClan territory?"
Museful: How are you always so fast?
The question echoed in her mind. It would not leave her alone, echoing through her whole mind, body, and self. Maybe it was because she was of SkyClan? She had been born and raised in SkyClan, the Clan of Grace. As a warrior of said Clan, she was supposed to be quick and agile, swift.
No, that wasn't it. Maybe it was because of her being a Vespiquen? As a Combee she was small, fast, aerodynamic. She zipped through the sky like it was no big deal, like an Umbreon hiding in a dark alley. Her wings were small, but that was the wonder of insects. As a Vespiquen, flight was a bit harder, but not much. She was bigger, but so were her wings.
Niet. Not it. Then Honeycloud realized. Yes. It was her parents that made her so fast. Her mother had been a Vespiquen like herself, a swift fighter from above. Her father had been a Staraptor, a powerful hunter of the sky. They had been the perfect match, and two of the fastest Pokemon in SkyClan. They were definately what gave Honeycloud her speed.
