Welcome to the wonderful world of Warriors; the Ancient Ways! The Clans on this site are differently mannered than the ones in the books. Here will be short descriptions of each Clan. Have fun!

ThunderClan

Greetings, loner. I am Bluestar, the leader of ThunderClan. We are a strict clan, granted, but we are strong and fierce. In ThunderClan, we care and will never hurt you. We do not like fighting. I, for one, hate fight. But if we are pushed to the limit that we need to defend outselves, we will fight for what is right. If our personality fit you, then ThunderClan in the right place for you. But ambitous cats, like Tigerclaw for example, are wanting to be in ThunderClan, I, Bluestar leader of ThunderClan, will not hesitate to send you out of my territory. ThunderClan cats are loyal to one another. If you choose to be that way, then I can arrange for you to be sent out of ThunderClan territory, and if you return, you will be killed. ThunderClan will greet you with open paws, IF you are loyal or can't fend for yourself.

Clan Character: Abrupt, shy, and strict cats. They are powerful and strong. They do not like to speak out against the warrior code, and don't like arguing or battling. If they do battle, they are powerful and fierce.

Territory: Thick oak forest with much undergrowth. Horrifyingly dangerous if set on fire. Easy to hunt because of the undergrowth, which hides the cats.

Prey: Mainly mice, voles, squirrels, and birds such as starlings, magpies, wood pigeons and thrushes. Occasionally rabbits.

Hunting Skills: Excellent stalking techniques. They keep upwind of their prey, creeping across the forest floor unseen and unheard.

ShadowClan

Greetings. I am Graystar leader of ShadowClan. We are a Clan that is gentle and caring, only wanting what is best for others around us. If you are willing to protect your Clan to the end then ShadowClan is right for you. However, if you are not willing to do so, or are blood-thirsty and would kill a cat of your own Clan, I, Graystar, will not hesitate to send you out into the harsh territory to fend for yourself. All in ShadowClan must care for each other and help on another. None should look at the place we live and judge us merely on that. There is more to our Clan then our surroundings make a first appearance seem.

Clan Character: Calm, patient, gentle cats. They are very sneaky and excellent stalkers. They have long attention spans and are very caring.

Territory: Boggy, peaty marsh. Usually cold and muddy.

Prey: Frogs, lizards, and snakes.

Hunting Skills: ShadowClan cats hunt by night better than other Clan cats are are skilled at sulking unseen through the undergrowth.

WindClan

We are like the wind, fast, powerful, and able to prevail in any environment. The speed to outstrip any cat and the brains to use it to ones advantage are high qualities in Windclan. Those who are decisive and assertive cats who know where there loyalty belongs and fight for their clan are welcomed here. If you have these qualities then Windclan is the place for you. If you will hold true and remain content with your clan then Windclan is for you. However give me one reason to think you are going to cause harm to any member of my clan and you will be out in a second. In Windclan we fight till the last cat i standing, this is no place for cowards. I am Lonestar, leader of Windclan.

Clan Character: Impatient, quick-witted, ambitious, temperamental, aggressive cats. They are fast and swift. They are smaller than cats from other Clans, and their pelts are earthy shades. They take pride in being the closest Clan to the Moonstone.

Territory: Grassy moorland. Gentle hills all around; easy to spot a cat from far away when at the top of a hill. Few bushes and rocks, barely any trees.

Prey: Mainly rabbits. Sometimes birds like starlings and magpies if they are flying low.

Hunting Skills: Fast, lean, and swift. Their short, smooth pelts of browns and grays blend in with the rocks and grasses.

RiverClan

Sure, we may not have what ThunderClan call 'strength', what ShadowClan call 'cunning', what WindClan call 'speed', or what SkyClan call 'high leaps', but then again, it's their standards. Our standards are different. We, like a stream, are graceful, agile, well-adapting, and can think through any situation. We are strong and fierce, like when the stream floods. We are not like a little trickle of water. We are more like the great river that flows through our territory, supplying us with everything we need. If you are like the river, then you are more than welcome to our abode. I am Crystalstar, leader of the tamers of water, RiverClan!

Clan Character: Polite, curious, clever and well fed. Long fur and glossy coats that dry quickly. They love beautiful things and often collect rocks, shells, and feathers for their dens. They do not fear water.

Territory: River field covered in reeds. Marshy in the south, a few trees in the east. A few rocks.

Prey: Mainly fish but also water voles, shrews, and mice.

Hunting Skills: Strong swimmers, moving silent and scentless through the water. They scoop fish out of the water from the bank -- a skill most cats in the other Clans cannot master.

SkyClan

LEADERCHATHERE

Clan Character: Kind, loyal, and strict cats. They are great jumpers and have hard gray paw pads that protect their paws from rocks. They are easily offended and trust the other Clans.

Territory: Green, hilly plain. Few bushes and rocks. Trees are spread out. Rocky in some areas.

Prey: Mice, voles, squirrels, the occasional rabbit, and birds such as starlings, magpies, wood pigeons, and thrushes.

Hunting Skills: They use trees to their advantage, jumping up into high branches to stay out of sight. They patiently wait for prey. When they spot some, they leap down and take it by surprise.
